Role:  Lead Openstack Architect
Client: Accenture
Location:  Dallas, TX or Middletown, NJ
Start Date:  ASAP
Manager notes: I'm looking for someone that has at least 2-3 years of Openstack under their belt.

Role Description:  Lead architect on a complex, large-scale Openstack cloud implementation responsible for defining, planning, and documenting the architecture and solutions for new cloud products
Requirements (*Must Have):
- Experience supporting a large scale, elastic, highly available cloud environment*
- Deep understanding of the OpenStack project ecosystem and hands-on Openstack development / coding experience*
- Experience with Heat orchestration engine and delivering IaaS and PaaS offerings within Openstack*
- Good experience with Neutron and solid networking fundamentals (e.g. SDN)*
- Knowledge of multiple hypervisor technologies (e.g. KVM, VMware ESXi)*
- Ability to bring others together across various organizations and come to agreements on proposed solutions*
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work independently with minimal supervision in an agile environment*
- Experience designing and using web services APIs (RESTful, SOAP)
- Proficiency with development and scripting and development (Java, C++, bash, perl, python, git)
- Experience with monitoring and usage collection tools such as Nagios and Ceilometer
- Experience with some Continuous Integration system (eg. Jenkins)
- Configuration management tools (e.g. chef, puppet)
