Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.   • Paid Dealer School is designed to teach/train aspiring table games dealers.
  • Dealers are responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members.
  • Open game at assigned table, count contents, verify count with closing list, inspect cards or dice and sign off with supervisor.
  • Deal games, payout winnings, exchange currency for chips and inform guests of game rules.
  • Change over deck of cards or dice, inspect and mix cards.
  • Verify bank roll fills with the supervisor and security personnel.
  • Ensure protection of game; maintain continuous inspection of cards or dice, ensure betting in compliance with game rules and minimums set.
  • Close game; sort cards, balance rack, count chips and sign off with the supervisor.
  • Maintain the honesty and integrity of assigned games, controlling pace.
  • Assist guest with questions on casino activities or refer to appropriate personnel.
  • Must have excellent guest service skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Must be able to pass an audition at the end of dealer school. 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. 
  • Must understand and speak the English language.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear.  The team member frequently is required to stand and walk.  The team member is occasionally required to sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch.  The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  The team member requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
