Summary
700Credit is looking for a reliable Inside Sales Team Manager to join the team at our headquarters in Southfield, MI . The Inside Sales Manager will lead and inspire a team of 15 Account Representatives, driving performance and building a high-accountability culture. This role plays a key part in ensuring the Account Representative team consistently meets and exceeds revenue goals, while overseeing the entire sales administration process and monitoring key sales metrics. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is comfortable motivating others, translating data into action, and building a high-performance team others want to be part of.
Responsibilities
  • Sales Organization Leadership & Execution: Lead the day-to-day performance and execution of the Inside Sales organization ensuring alignment to business priorities and consistent achievement of revenue goals
  • Lead Management & Cross-Functional Partnership: Manage and delegate inbound sales leads to appropriate teams while partnering cross-functionally to remove barriers and ensure seamless execution.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts to leadership, tracking performance against revenue goals and actuals.
  • Sales Metrics & Strategy: Translate sales metrics into actionable strategies that drive performance improvements and accountability across the team.
  • Customer & Prospect Feedback: Gather and leverage customer and prospect feedback to generate ideas about new features, products, or process improvements that support business growth.
  • Process, Compliance & Documentation: Maintain strong process discipline, documentation, and adherence to sales, finance, and legal policies and procedures.
  • Market & Product Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of 700Credit's product offerings, market conditions, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape.
  • Hiring & Onboarding: Interview and evaluate candidates to make informed hiring decisions and lead the onboarding and training of new Inside Sales Representatives to ensure a strong foundation and fast ramp-up.
  • Performance Coaching & Development: Coach and develop team members to elevate individual and team performance through structured 1:1s, bi-weekly team meetings, and outcome-focused feedback.

Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrates proven leadership experience managing Inside Sales teams with a focus on performance, accountability, and consistent execution.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce, with power user experience preferred.
  • Possesses an in-depth understanding of the sales administration process and strong ability to coach and scale sales teams.
  • Communicates exceptionally well across written, verbal, and listening channels when engaging with team members, customers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Proactively problem-solves and multitasks effectively while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
  • Manages time effectively, prioritizes competing demands, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • 5+ years of experience working with automotive retail teams, OEMs, dealer groups, or vendor-side organizations strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Communications or an equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred.
  • Requires minimal travel, estimated at approximately 5-10% annually, primarily limited to industry trade shows and conferences as needed.
