Role Description The Millwright role at Brown and Root is a full-time, on-site position located in Ontario, CA. The Millwright will install, align, assemble, and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment according to specifications, using appropriate tools and techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and completing repairs to minimize equipment downtime. The role involves using power tools and hand tools to fabricate, adjust, and secure components, as well as reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate setup and operation. The Millwright will follow all safety procedures, collaborate with other trades and supervisors, and document work performed to support reliable facility operations.
Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills in preventive maintenance and maintenance & repair of industrial machinery.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and equipment issues safely and efficiently.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for installation, alignment, and repair tasks.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices, including lockout/tagout and hazard recognition.
• Previous experience as a Millwright, industrial mechanic, or related trade role preferred.
• Relevant trade certification, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent work experience is beneficial.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, standing, and working in varied environments.
• Reliable communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
