Job description

Our Client is a full-service millwright, electrical, and fabrication company supporting a wide range of industrial operations. The team specializes in rotating equipment, mining applications, DC motors, alignments, conveyor systems, and control systems. Industrial provides comprehensive services designed to keep critical equipment running safely and reliably. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Electric Motor Mechanic role based in Wyoming, United States. The Electric Motor Mechanic will inspect, diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble electric motors and related rotating equipment, including DC motors used in industrial and mining environments.

Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, replacing or repairing components, and aligning motors with driven equipment. The role involves working with hand and power tools, reading technical manuals and schematics, and documenting work performed in a clear and accurate manner. The Electric Motor Mechanic will collaborate with other technicians and millwrights, support field service work as needed, and communicate repair status and timelines to supervisors and customers while following all safety procedures and company standards.

Qualifications

Strong background in vehicle-related systems, including Vehicle Maintenance, Steering, and Motor Vehicle knowledge where applicable to industrial and mobile equipment.

Hands-on experience in Maintenance & Repair of electric motors, rotating equipment, and associated mechanical and electrical components.

Ability to provide clear, respectful, and responsive Customer Service when interacting with clients, vendors, and internal team members.

Proficiency with hand and power tools, basic electrical testing equipment, and measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, dial indicators, multimeters).

Understanding of industrial safety practices, including lockout/tagout, PPE use, and safe lifting and rigging techniques.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team in industrial environments.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or a related field is preferred.

Previous experience as an electric motor mechanic, industrial maintenance technician, or similar role in manufacturing, mining, or heavy industry is highly beneficial.
