Shift: Sunday - Thursday 06:30 PM - 06:00 AM

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Total Staffing Solutions powered by TTR is seeking two Security Guards to support inventory protection and site safety at a busy distribution center in Joliet, Illinois. These are full-time positions.

Security Guard Position Overview

This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure warehouse environment by protecting inventory and monitoring site activity. The position requires continuous standing, walking, and strong attention to safety protocols.

Security Guard Key Responsibilities

  • Safeguard warehouse inventory and prevent loss or theft
  • Conduct routine patrols throughout the facility
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Utilize security equipment, including metal detectors
  • Respond to incidents using proper safety and emergency procedures
  • Maintain a professional and visible presence onsite

Security Guard Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of security experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
  • Candidates with their own security uniform and metal detector equipment will be prioritized and eligible for the top pay rate
  • Strong security awareness and emergency response skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Must wear proper security uniform at all times
  • Experience using metal detectors or willingness to learn
  • Must undergo pre-employment screening such as background check

Work Environment
