Overview
JadeClass Education Singapore Writing and Analysis courses provide enrichment education to bright students who already have a good command of the English language and are focusing on their written English with the goal of continuing their education abroad. Our students vary in age from 6-16 and are carefully screened for English level, behavior, and motivation. We focus on teaching concrete skills that will help students in their learning endeavors.
IMPORTANT: We will not consider your application without a video introduction!!!
Job Responsibilities
Our Writing and Analysis courses place one teacher with a group of up to eight students for a semester length course of study covering a topic such as story analysis, story writing, persuasive writing, narrative writing, analytical writing, and literature analysis.
Lesson materials are provided by our design team and are classroom-ready: all teachers have to do is review them and teach! Grading and student support outside of the classroom is provided by our in-house staff - everything from presentations and in-class activities to homework, tests and keys with standardized comments are created during the development process so that the course can be taught and supported independently of its creators.
• Develop and deliver well-planned, engaging online classes in a 1 on 8 format
• Create, test, and revise lesson materials conforming to JadeClass standards
• Commit to developing a full course of 15 lessons

Schedule
Development meetings can take place any day of the week online on the ClassIn (classin.com) platform between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 UTC +8 (Singapore time). Lessons take place on the weekends during the fall and spring, and Monday-Saturday during the summer.
For the Summer 2026 semester, classes will run from early July through late August with classes meeting twice per week either on Monday and Thursday, or Wednesday and Saturday, between the hours of 08:30 and 20:30 Singapore time.
• July-August: Mon, Thurs 08:30 - 20:30 (UTC+8)
Wed, Sat 08:30 - 20:30 (UTC+8)
Compensation
• 360 USD per newly developed lesson - includes in-class materials as well as homework, grading keys, and supplementary materials
• Teaching hours are paid separately - 75 USD per 90 minute lesson
• Remuneration is through Wise (wise.com) between the 10th and the 12th of each month.
