Job description

AM: Stacy Walker
Infrastructure Design Coordinator
This role shall:
  • develop and modify floorplans for building A/V systems, video conferencing, IoT devices, network drops, etc.
  • have experience working with floorplans and knowledge of infrastructure design and general building construction
  • identify problems and offer solutions within Space Optimization and Utilization Project (SOUP)designs
  • attend meetings on space design and planning
  • serve as liaison to Workplace Solutions management
  • use Bluebeam Revu and other software for design
  • works with Department of General Services Bureau of Real Estate and/or Capital Programs involved in SOUP projects and vendors, lessors, and contractors involved
  • collaborate with Enterprise Telecom, Network Operations, and Video Conference teams

Key skills:
  • Ability to design and modify floorplans for AV, telecom, IoT, and network infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of building infrastructure, construction processes, and architectural drawings
  • Problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions within space planning (SOUP) designs
  • Effective participation in design and planning meetings
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to serve as liaison with Workplace Solutions
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and related design software
  • Experience collaborating with real estate teams, contractors, vendors, and government agencies
  • Ability to work closely with Enterprise Telecom, Network Operations, and Video Conferencing teams
