Role Description Chess Instructors at Chesslings Academy lead in-person classes and training sessions for students at various skill levels in Rockland county, NY as well as surroundings. This full-time, on-site role involves preparing lesson plans, teaching core chess concepts, demonstrating strategies and tactics, and guiding students through practice games and exercises. Instructors provide individualized feedback, monitor progress, and adjust instruction to different learning styles and ages. The role also includes communicating with families or caregivers about student development, supporting tournaments or events, and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
