Online substitute teachers may work in K-12 schools, colleges, or other educational institutions that use digital platforms for teaching. Their role is crucial for maintaining classroom structure and student engagement when the regular teacher is unavailable.

What does an online substitute teacher do?

An online substitute teacher is a fill-in teacher for when the regular teacher is unavailable. As an online teacher, you use virtual means to teach students of any age. Through technology like video chat and televised courses, you administer lessons to a class of students, solicit feedback, assign homework, and engage in discussions.
