Job description

The Inventory & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory systems, merchandise flow, and e-commerce operations for the Culver Eagle Outfitters Store. This role ensures inventory accuracy across all retail locations and online channels, supports efficient product movement, and assists with daily store operations. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inventory Compliance

  • Oversee and maintain accurate inventory across all retail store locations, including the Culver Eagle Outfitters Store, Culver Museum & Gift Shop, the seasonal Woodcraft Store during Summer Camp, and the fully integrated e commerce platform.
  • Manage daily merchandise receiving and ensure accurate entry into the inventory management system supporting point-of-sale (POS), e-commerce platform and accounting systems
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventories
  • Ensure proper product flow from receiving through stocking and fulfillment 

E-Commerce Operations

  • Manage and maintain the online store (Shopify), including product setup, inventory updates, product descriptions, and imagery
  • Oversee order fulfillment, shipping, and returns to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Provide customer support for online inquiries, including product, shipping, and return questions 

Operations & Store Support

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Support opening and closing responsibilities
  • Maintain store appearance and cleanliness standards
  • Assist with operations across multiple retail locations and special events 

Compliance & Process Support

  • Ensure compliance with safety, loss-prevention, and inventory control practices
  • Assist with implementing and developing policies and procedures 
  • Prepare merchandise, personal care/school supplies, and food/drinks for cycle counts and physical inventories 

Other Duties

  • Perform cash register duties as required.
  • May be asked to work other campus store locations and events.
  • Occasional evenings and weekends required based on operational needs

REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred. Experience using Shopify is desired. Administrative and bookkeeping skills with a strong aptitude for numbers, inventory accounting/management and safe cash-handling procedures is required.  Must have excellent administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and highly developed computer skills with high competency with Excel, Word and related software. A demonstrated ability to build relationships using vital customer service and communication skills are essential to success in this position. This position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
