Software Developer
Are you a skilled software developer who enjoys building and enhancing applications that support critical business needs?
Do you enjoy working with technical and business teams to design solutions, solve complex problems, and deliver reliable applications?
About the Role
As a Software Developer, you will create and modify computer programs by converting system requirements and designs into application code. You will work with technical team members, business analysts, and subject matter experts to develop solutions that meet defined business and technical requirements.
In this role, you will participate in requirements and design discussions, develop and test application code, troubleshoot system issues, and support enhancements and upgrades while ensuring development standards are consistently followed.
Responsibilities
As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for:
  • Writing application code that meets defined requirements and adheres to documented designs.
  • Performing unit and unit integration testing on developed code.
  • Participating in JAD sessions to understand requirements and provide technical options when designing solutions.
  • Working with technical team members, business analysts, and subject matter experts to analyze and resolve system problems.
  • Documenting system designs and changes to system designs.
  • Providing impact analysis for proposed system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Assisting system and acceptance testers with troubleshooting anomalies, understanding impacts, and identifying solutions to bugs or gaps in functionality.
  • Reporting issues and status to management, as directed.
  • Understanding and adhering to established development standards and ensuring code is compliant with those standards.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or foreign equivalent to a bachelor's degree, is desired. A reasonable combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant software development experience.
  • Experience with ASP.NET, Dapper, AutoMapper, C#, and Visual Studio 2019.
  • Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX, .NET Framework 4.8, and .NET Core.
  • Experience with SQL Server 2019, including the design and development of stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions.
  • Experience with HTML5, XML, XSLT, and CSS.
  • Experience developing and working with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with OAuth and JWT.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Methodologies and Object-Oriented Design.
  • Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is ($63,140 - $82,000)
