Open position: Salon Guest Experience & Sales Coordinator
Role and Mission
• The Salon Guest Experience & Sales Coordinator is the first and last impression of my salon.
• Our mission and the primary responsibility of this position is to create a warm, organized, and welcoming experience while supporting the salon team.
Client and Schedule Management
• Greet every guest warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
• Answer phone calls, emails, text messages, and online inquiries promptly.
• Creating and managing employee schedules.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments.
• Check clients in and out efficiently.
• Process payments, deposits, gift cards, tips, and retail purchases accurately.
• Recommend and sell professional retail products.
• Rebook clients before they leave the salon.
• Maintain an organized appointment schedule, and minimize scheduling gaps.
• Communicate with stylists about vivid color appointment requests with existing, and inspirational photos before booking.
• Communicate with stylist with schedule changes, cancellations, and client arrivals.
• Must back up the salon policies with confidence.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Offer beverages and ensure clients feel comfortable while waiting.
• Maintain client records and update contact information and BIRTHDAYS.
Inventory and Retail Management
• Enter used inventory into system accurately.
• Manage inventory by stocking retail displays and creating supply orders based on low inventory with all manufacturers and place order from master contact list.
Salon Upkeep
• Help with salon laundry, light cleaning, and general salon appearance as needed, when not busy.
Promotions, Communication, and Procedures
• Manage and promote monthly/quarterly salon specials, loyalty programs, and upcoming events with email/text marketing.
• Coordinating marketing, and retail promotions with manufacturers, and the owner.
• Handle all email tasks the owner may send you in a timely manner.
• Handle client concerns professionally, with grace, and escalate issues to the owner when appropriate.
• Follow opening and closing procedures. ( this is a team effort)

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and stay calm.

• Positive attitude and polished appearance always with a good attitude.
