Community Liaison

Knoxville, TN • On-site

Full-time

Job description

The Opportunity
The Community Liaison is a high-energy, relationship-driven role at the intersection of community engagement, referral development, local marketing, and social media. This is not a behind-the-desk marketing role. It is hands-on, highly visible, and designed for someone who genuinely enjoys meeting people, building lasting partnerships, creating experiences, marketing a brand, and accelerating company growth.
You will spend your time connecting with people, building and fostering meaningful professional relationships, showing up for families and community partners, and helping turn those connections into growth for our practices.
What You Will Do
Build Referral Relationships
• Develop and nurture relationships with referring doctors, dental teams, pediatricians, schools, and other community partners through consistent, personal outreach.
• Become a trusted and recognizable representative of Epic Orthodontics within the professional and family communities we serve.
• Coordinate referral appreciation initiatives, lunches, and recognition programs.
• Plan and coordinate lunch & learns, educational meetings, referral appreciation events, and other relationship-building opportunities.
• Track referral activity and outreach efforts to help identify opportunities and support practice growth goals.
Bring Epic Orthodontics Into the Community
• Represent Epic Orthodontics at community events, school programs, health fairs, sponsorships, and family-focused activities.
• Help plan and execute engaging in-office experiences, open houses, patient appreciation events, and other brand-building activities.
• Look for creative ways to strengthen Epic Orthodontics' presence and relationships throughout the local community.
Create Content & Amplify the Brand
• Capture authentic photos and videos at events, in-office activities, and team celebrations for social media.
• Create and schedule engaging local social media content in alignment with Epic Orthodontics' brand standards.
• Support online reputation management by encouraging patient reviews and monitoring local engagement.
• Bring a fresh, creative perspective to how Epic Orthodontics shows up online and in the community.
Partner on Local Marketing & Growth
• Collaborate with practice leadership and the marketing team on local growth initiatives, promotions, and campaigns.
• Maintain organized records of outreach activities, referral visits, events, sponsorships, and community partnerships.
• Manage outreach calendars, promotional inventory, and activity reporting to keep initiatives organized and moving forward.
What We Are Looking For...
• At least five years of experience in sales, community outreach, referral relations, or a customer-facing healthcare role.
• A natural connector who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and representing a brand with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and no two days look exactly alike.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently.
• Experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Google Business is preferred.
• Familiarity with Canva, social media scheduling tools, or CRM platforms is a plus.
• Willingness to travel among Epic Orthodontics locations and throughout the local community.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
A Great Fit If You...
Are outgoing. Are organized. Are creative. You love people and thrive on relationships. You're energized by being out in the community rather than sitting behind a desk all day. You can walk into a room, start a conversation, make people feel welcome, and spot an opportunity to create a meaningful connection. You're equally comfortable planning an event, visiting a referral partner, capturing a great social post, and tracking the results.
Most importantly, you care about doing work that matters-and you're excited by the opportunity to help a growing orthodontic brand become an even bigger part of the community.
Schedule & Flexibility
Standard business hours make up most of the schedule, with occasional evenings and weekends for community events, sponsorships, and patient appreciation activities. Schedule flexibility will be provided to accommodate these commitments.
Performance Bonus Opportunity
This role offers meaningful upside for strong performance. Each month, you may earn bonuses based on referral development performance, as determined by the Company in its sole discretion, less applicable deductions and tax withholdings.
Earned bonuses are paid monthly in accordance with company policy, provided you remain employed through the applicable payment date and have not submitted notice of your intent to terminate employment before that date.
Why This Role Is Exciting
If you are looking for a role where you can be out in the community, build meaningful partnerships, use your creativity, and see a direct connection between your work and business growth, this is an opportunity to make your mark. You will have the visibility and variety of a community-facing role, the energy of marketing and events, and the reward of helping Epic Orthodontics build lasting relationships with the people and professionals who matter most.
Come build relationships. Create experiences. Grow the community.
Accelerate Epic Orthodontics Growth!
