Job description

Description:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling, organizing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. Operating in a detail-oriented environment, this position plays a critical role in inventory management and quality control, ensuring that client products reach the destination safely and in perfect condition. The ideal candidate will be highly dependable, possess excellent attention to detail, and work collaboratively to maintain an efficient, organized, and safe warehouse environment.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fulfill daily orders by accurately picking warehouse locations.
  • Utilize internal inventory systems to verify product details, quantities, and correct locations.
  • Carefully pack, seal, and tag picked items, placing boxes on pallets and securing them with stretch wrap or strapping for safe shipment.
  • Confirm that correct shipping labels and documentation are attached to all completed orders before moving them to the designated shipping area.
  • Conduct regular inventory verification and assist with cycle counting to maintain accurate warehouse records.
  • Assist in other warehouse departments including receiving, returns, and inventory as needed to support fluctuating workloads and team objectives.
  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety of assigned work zones in compliance with company protocols and OSHA standards.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and supervisors regarding order discrepancies, inventory shortages, or safety concerns.
  • Other related duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of warehouse, logistics, or order fulfillment experience (experience handling fragile goods is preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of picking and packing orders with a high level of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently under pressure to meet daily shipping deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work harmoniously within a diverse team environment.

Education

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Forklift certification is a plus, however not a requirement. We offer annual onsite forklift certification.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach for long periods of time.
  • Regularly lift and move boxes, up to fifty (50) pounds, throughout the shift.
  • Navigate a warehouse and reach items both high and low.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work comfortably in a clean, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
  • Business hours are from 8am to 4:30pm with half an hour lunch.
  • Must be available to work overtime, including Saturdays when requested.
