Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will carry out a variety of important responsibilities aimed at improving the mental health outcomes for your clients:

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments for a diverse range of emotional and behavioral issues typical within the school-aged population.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans grounded in solution-focused methodologies and best practices tailored to the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Utilize an array of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adjusting approaches based on the client's preferences and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical interactions in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance and the continuation of quality care.
  • Engage in multi-disciplinary collaboration with educational staff, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support for clients.
  • Partake in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss strategies for client engagement and improvement.
  • Advocate for clients by connecting them and their families to community resources and support networks.
  • Continuously update clinical knowledge to implement evidence-based interventions and practices effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this position will be on school-aged children, addressing various mental health issues that affect their learning and social behavior, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and other psychological challenges. You will work closely with parents and school staff in a supportive role to enhance the children's overall functioning and help them achieve their academic and personal goals.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory, with a current license to practice as an LCSW in Illinois.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in a school or community-based setting, focusing on psychotherapy.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of solution-based and evidence-supported therapeutic interventions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Robust problem-solving skills, enabling you to navigate complex care scenarios and provide tailored support.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while managing a full caseload.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working in educational settings or with children and adolescents is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 - 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
