What You Will Do:
Perform support tasks in the Radiology department under the direction of a Registered Technologist to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient imaging operations.
  • Assist technologists with patient positioning and exam preparation
  • Transport patients to and from Radiology while adhering to all BRGMC policies
  • Promote positive interactions with patients, staff, and medical professionals
  • Maintain communication with patient care units and assist with departmental flow
  • Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of transport equipment and exam areas
  • Manage linen distribution and oxygen supply needs, reporting equipment issues promptly
  • Support safety practices by adhering to infection control, patient identification, and HIPAA policies
  • Perform lifting services, attend required meetings, and carry out additional support duties as needed
