  • Design and installation of IBM MQ and/or Rabbit MQ, deploying enterprise applications, installation, and configuration.

  • Deliver assignments within specified time frames and adhere to all established standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of experience with IBM MQ in design, installation, version upgrades (fixpacks), migration, and configuration;

  • Troubleshooting skills for middleware platforms;

  • Installation, configuration, and upgrades of middleware platforms;

  • Analytical and debugging skills;

  • Python programming skills an asset;

  • Knowledge of microservices development, an asset;

  • Experience in high-frequency trading environments, an asset;

  • Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, etc.), an asset;

  • Design and architecture on middleware platforms, an asset;

  • Exposure to cloud computing practices, an asset;

  • Experience with tools/platforms such as JIRA, Jenkins, Docker, Elasticsearch, and AWS is a plus;

  • Knowledge of REST API development, an asset;

Excellent communication skills in French and English. English is required, as the position involves communicating with clients located outside Quebec.
