Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Successful completion of up to a 52-week Fabricator training program
  • Operate shear, brake, laser, saw, roller, pipe threader, forklift, & overhead crane.
  • Responsible for maintaining equipment.
  • Responsible for performing and inspecting own work.
  • Maintain a clean, safe workplace.
  • Overtime commitment when needed.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Must pass a tape measure test and protractor test.
  • Ability to operate all machines and tools in the department. Training is provided for up to 52 weeks (based upon skill level).
  • Experience in operating fabrication equipment in a form shop environment preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to read blueprints is preferred.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to use gauges, templates, and other measuring devices to inspect production parts is preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: High school grad or equivalent required.
