Description
The Program Manager will oversee the administration and performance of a complex maintenance data environment supporting inactive operational equipment assets. This includes ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and operational readiness of maintenance databases and systems handling thousands of equipment units and associated support infrastructure. This individual will provide leadership across maintenance operations, supervise contractor personnel, and ensure compliance with established Government maintenance directives, policies, and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish, manage, and maintain Planned Maintenance System (PMS), Maintenance Data System (MDS), and Inactive Equipment Maintenance (IEM) programs in accordance with Government directives
  • Oversee maintenance databases to ensure accuracy and compliance with prescribed standards
  • Prepare and submit weekly status reports, 13-week reports, and force revision reports
  • Identify recurring maintenance program issues and implement corrective actions and process improvements
  • Document lessons learned and best practices and communicate them to stakeholders
  • Maintain coordination with subject matter experts and stakeholders across commands
  • Attend and contribute to maintenance meetings, ensuring timely follow-up on work requests and issues
  • Supervise and direct contractor maintenance personnel and ensure program execution aligns with operational goals
