About the Role:

The Instructor Nurse Aide Program plays a critical role in preparing aspiring nurse aides to deliver high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive training programs that meet state and federal regulatory standards. The instructor will facilitate both theoretical and practical learning experiences, ensuring students acquire the necessary clinical skills and knowledge to succeed in their certification and future careers. By fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, the instructor helps students develop professional competencies, ethical standards, and effective communication skills. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License in Virginia.
  • Current state-approved Nurse Aide Instructor certification or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Infection Control Preventionist Certifcation
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a nurse aide in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of nurse aide scope of practice, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent communication and instructional skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching or training adult learners in a healthcare or educational environment.
  • Additional certifications in healthcare education or related fields.
