Overview

Remodel Installer/Merchandiser (Temporary) FT & PT opportunities

SPAR Canada is hiring Remodel Installer/Merchandisers to support a major retailer's store reset. This is a temporary full-time or part-time position starting July 17th to approximately July 30th, 2026.

In this role, you will build, take down, and reconfigure retail store fixtures by following detailed store layout plans. This role is ideal for reliable, handson individuals who enjoy physical work, teamwork, and seeing measurable results at the end of each shift.

Schedule and Pay

  • Shifts: 7 days/week, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
  • Temporary Assignment: July 17th to approximately July 30th, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Merchandise and remove products from shelves, according to a specificย planogram.
  • Install, reconfigure, reposition and remove retail store fixtures to accurately reflect store layout plans
  • Adhere to retailers and SPAR Canada's health and safety policies and retail practices.
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting and bending repetitively during scheduled shifts.
  • Engage in problem solving to support continuous improvement.
  • Keep retail location and work area neat and organized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of prior experience with retail fixture installation, storeย resets and merchandising
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds with prolonged standing
  • Experience working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills
  • Reliable, safe and proactive team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Steel-toed safety footwear is mandatory on site
  • General use of basic hand tools such as a mallet, measuring tape, screwdriver, snips and pliers
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently

  • Previous experience with retail fixture installation or store resets
