 Opportunity:

As the Marketing & Visual Communications Intern working with the Brand Communications team, you will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the company. This is a paid opportunity. 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Design visuals (digital and physical assets) to promote the Radio Flyer brand and products. This includes assets for marketing campaigns, social media, packaging design for our retail customers, product launches and more. 
  • Design visuals for internal customers, including company meetings and events
  • Copywrite new product content for launches on RadioFlyer.com and retail customer websites.
  • Create written brand content to support e-commerce and social media growth.
  • Provide assistance during onsite and offsite photo and video shoots

Qualifications: 

  • The ideal candidate will be a junior or senior, majoring in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, and/or Marketing with a 3.0+ grade point average.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Experience with Adobe After Effects, Adobe XD, and Adobe Dreamweaver is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Creative, hands-on and results oriented; need a strong ability to prioritize objectives and meet deadlines 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
  • Capacity to understand graphic trends, recommend design direction, and update designs based on feedback

The pay range per hour is $21-$25. Pay is based on responsibilities, skills/experience level, education, along with the Chicagoland area market, the consumer product industry, and company size. This internship may offer a relocation stipend for those who live outside of the Chicagoland area. Radio Flyer’s paid time off policies comply with the City of Chicago Paid Leave and Paid Sick and Safe Leave Ordinance.
