Full-Stack Java Developer
Location: Herndon, VA (Remote Work)

Job Responsibilities

โ€ข Design and implement Micro Service Architecture JEE software applications.
โ€ข Full stack development building highly scalable web and batch applications
โ€ข Participate in Agile development methodologies and ceremonies
โ€ข Develop Back-end applications using Java frameworks like Spring Boot, Core Java,JDBC, SQL, RESTful APIs, Microservices etc.
โ€ข Develop Front-end applications, where needed, utilizing REACT JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, etc
โ€ข Use modern software engineering tools including Eclipse, Rational Application Developer (RAD), and Atlassian Suites for the design, development, and testing of software.
Requirements
Education
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (4 years' experience in lieu of degree)
Skills and Experience
โ€ข 8 years total IT experience primarily as Full-Stack Java Developer
โ€ข 3+ years of strong hands-on experience as a Backend Java Developer
โ€ข Overall experience with -
o Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using Java for backend and JavaScript, HTML, CSS for frontend development.
o Implement server-side logic, database integration, and ensure seamless data flow between backend and frontend.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
o Ensure secure and efficient data management and integration with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
o Implement client-side validation, event handling, and dynamic content update functionalities.
o Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
o Debug and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
o System development methodologies including Agile
o Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
