• Overseeand coordinatepost-production workfor online courses, service center clients, and other projects, ensuring editing assignments are appropriately staffed and completed according to quality, technical, timeline, and budget requirements.This includesassigning editors based on skill level and availability, managing workflows for high-volume editing projects, reviewing edits for quality assurance, addressing post-production challenges and bottlenecks, andassistingwith rush assignments as needed to meet deadlines.

• Train, mentor, and supportstudent editors by providing instruction on post-production standards, workflows, technologies, and best practices. Thisincludes documenting and tracking student growth and professional development, providing feedback on editing work, troubleshooting technical and workflow issues, and helping create opportunities for skill development and advancement.

• Manage post-production workflows, resource allocation, editor assignments, and project tracking processes to assign and supervise post-production for online courses, live events, creative media, and other projects.

• Maintain and improve media management practices, including the organization, retention, tagging, and accessibility of mediaassetsassociated withonline courses,servicecenter clients, and other work.Assist management in evaluating and recommending equipment, software, workflow improvements, staffing needs, and operating policies.

• Build and foster a collaborative environment that encourages communication, feedback, and continuous improvement across groups.Work with the Video Department Manager, Studio Resources Manager, and Director of Studio Operations toanalyze post-production metrics,identifytrends and opportunities for improvement, support strategic planning efforts, and develop long-term solutions to meet growing post-production demands.

• Other duties as assigned.

• At least 7 years of experience in the field of radio,televisionor film program productions with a High School Diploma or GED.

• At least 3 years of experience in the field of radio,televisionor film program productions with aBachelor'sdegree.

• Proficiencywith Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Premiere Pro and Media Encoder) and related post-production tools.

• Strong knowledge of video editing workflows, quality assurance processes, media management practices, and draft delivery standards.

• Strong knowledge of workflows, best practices, and common industry tools for finishing work such as color correction (e.g., DaVinci Resolve), audio finishing (e.g., Pro Tools), captioning, and media delivery.

• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.

• Experience estimating and working within project budgets and timelines.

• Working knowledge of collaboration and project management tools (e.g., Trello, Basecamp, Box, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom).

• Knowledge of media asset management, archival, backup, and file organization workflows and best practices.

• At least 3 years as a video editoror post-production specialist.

• At least 3yearsmanaging,training,and/or mentoringvideo editors, student employees, or production staff.

• Experience developing and managing post-production workflows, standards, and documentation.

• Experience supporting high-volume production operations.

• Direct or adjacent experience with on-set and/or live productions (e.g., live event recording, interview filming, b-roll filming,etc).

• Demonstrated communication, feedback, and conflict-resolution skills in client- and internal-facing settings.

• Experience working within The University of Texas or similar higher education environments.

• Familiarity with Frame.io or similar collaborative asset management workflows.

• Knowledge of graphic design workflows and tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator,etc).

• Experience with motion graphics or templated editing (e.g., After Effects).

• Experience with accessibility and caption quality control.

• Experience with media asset management systems, archival workflows, or DAM platforms.

• Familiarity with brand standards and cross-platform video delivery requirements.
