Description:

Oneida Professional Services (OPS) is actively seeking highly qualified Online/Hybrid Course Instructors and Facilitators to support the United States Air Force Air University, Air Force Global College (AFGC) educational programs. This position supports graduate and undergraduate distance learning programs for military officers, enlisted personnel, and government civilians worldwide.


*This position is contingent on the award of a federal contract.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver online and hybrid instruction across Air Force Global College educational programs. 
  • Facilitate graduate and undergraduate courses in areas such as Strategy & Security Studies, Airpower Studies, Leadership & Profession of Arms Studies, Warfare Studies, Joint Operations Studies, and Research Skills. 
  • Lead online discussions and engage students in collaborative learning activities.
  • Grade assignments, assessments, and written coursework using approved grading rubrics. 
  • Provide substantive, individualized feedback to students.
  • Create and manage student groups, announcements, and learning activities within a Learning Management System (LMS). 
  • Participate in synchronous and asynchronous instructional activities.
  • Support curriculum improvement efforts through course feedback and recommendations.
  • Maintain compliance with Air University instructional standards and program requirements.
Requirements:

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant academic discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Experience teaching, facilitating, or developing adult learning programs.
  • Demonstrated experience with online learning platforms and virtual instruction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience grading and evaluating student performance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Military Education (PME) experience.
  • Prior Air University, DoD, or military instructional experience.
  • Experience teaching graduate-level students.
  • Experience delivering hybrid learning programs.
  • Military service or familiarity with military education environments.
