GIS Analyst
We are seeking a skilled Geographic Information Analyst to support spatial data development, maintenance, and advanced geospatial analysis. This role requires hands-on experience working with geodatabases in an editing environment, strong proficiency with Esri tools, and the ability to clearly document workflows and analytical results. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create, edit, and maintain spatial data within enterprise and file geodatabases
  • Perform data editing in a multi-user editing environment, ensuring data integrity and adherence to standards
  • Use Esri software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online) to support mapping, analysis, and data management tasks
  • Perform advanced spatial analyses, including but not limited to geoprocessing, spatial modeling, and data validation
  • Develop and maintain documentation for datasets, workflows, methodologies, and metadata
  • Produce high-quality data, reports, and analytical outputs to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and subject matter experts to define requirements and deliver GIS solutions
  • Support data quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) efforts
  • Troubleshoot GIS data and workflow issues and recommend improvements

  • Demonstrated experience working with both enterprise and file geodatabases
  • Proven ability to work in an editing environment with versioned data
  • Strong proficiency with Esri tools, especially ArcGIS Pro
  • Experience performing advanced spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and automation
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document technical work

Required Experience
At least three years of direct experience and a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a scientific or technical field. Candidates with related experience and formal education in a non-technical field will also be considered as will non-degreed candidates with demonstrated significant, related competencies and work experience.
Starting Salary Range
$59,500 - $71,400, depending on qualifications and experience
