PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Cyber Engineer to support our Huntsville, Alabama location.
PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Cyber Engineer to support our Huntsville location! Candidate will serve as a liaison between engineering development teams and provide training content development and instruction to customers/stakeholders and end users for STARCOM's cyber range development efforts. Additionally, candidate will augment and lead IT Architecture and Systems Integration.
Duties:
  • Interact with government stakeholders for cyber range design, development, and integration activities providing course design and instruction
  • Develop course-ware and provide instruction supporting STARCOM's Cyber Range activities to Space Force and other DOD, government and commercial end users.
  • Coordinate requirements and user feedback with cyber engineering development team.
  • Provide senior space operational expertise support to development team.
  • Support development and integration roadmap planning for cyber range development efforts.
  • Support cyber test events.
  • As effort grows, help lead multidisciplinary teams in support of cyber test and training range development and integration efforts.

Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
  • 10 years of DOD cyber course development, instruction and assessment experience required.
  • Demonstrated cyber operational leadership shaping cyber training, and cyber range implementation.
  • Extensive experience with high performance computing architecture modeling and simulation (M&S), incident response, and compliance assessments.
  • Travel: 15-25%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active TS/SCI clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree with relevant cyber Master's.

Desired Skills:
  • Direct experience supporting Space Force in cybersecurity or training capacity.
  • 8140 CSSP Auditor certification (CEH, CySA+, CISA, CHFI).
  • CMMC familiarization and certification.
  • Recent cyber project acquisition cost, schedule, and performance experience support USSF Operational Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI).
