The City of Bothell is excited to announce an opening for a Digital Content Coordinator to join the Communications team in the Executive Department!
This position will develop, lead, and curate the City's social media strategy, coordinate content creation with different departments, lead email marketing efforts, and develop digital channels to help share the City's story.

Recruitment information:
  • First round of application will be reviewed on Monday, July 20th by 5:00 pm
  • The recruitment process is tentatively planned as follows:
    • Candidates who are selected in the initial review will move on to a phone screening, which may include submitting work samples.
    • Candidates who successfully pass the phone screening will be invited to an interview.
    • Finalists from the interview stage will advance to a final interview, which may include an assessment or content-based test.

What will you do in this position?
  • Develop a comprehensive, trend-forward social media strategy for the City's channels, with a focus on compelling, engaging content.
  • Collaborate with the Communications and Engagement Manager, Engagement Coordinator, and department staff to execute content needs and develop materials (e.g., photos, videos, storytelling).
  • Develop and execute a refreshed email marketing strategy-including a rebuild of the City's eNews newsletter-using modern, engaging email marketing techniques that are relevant and digestible.
  • Produce quality videos, photos, and graphic design deliverables.
  • Execute updates to the City website and coordinate the City's website management representatives.

A successful candidate in this position will:
