RANGE: Adjunct instructors are hired on a semester basis and are paid per lecture hour equivalent (LHE). Minimum (less than a masters) and Maximum (Doctorate).
DESCRIPTION
Antelope Valley College invites applications for our adjunct (Temporary, part-time) faculty applicant pool for the following Computer Applications Instructor.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
  • Instruct students in the assigned discipline
  • Assignment may include teaching courses during the day, evening, on-line courses and/or off-campus sites

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Any Bachelor's degree or higher and two years of professional experience OR Any associate degree and six years of professional experience OR the equivalent.

  • Antelope Valley College Equivalency: Equivalency not needed, per faculty division

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience and/or willingness to teach dual enrollment courses.
  • Experience and/or willingness to teach prison courses
