CNC Hurco Machine Operator – Rockford, Illinois
We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Hurco Machine Operator to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience operating Hurco machining centers, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and the skill to produce high-quality precision parts with little to no training. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the CNC Hurco Machine Operator:
• Set up, program, and operate Hurco CNC milling machines to manufacture precision parts.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Verify dimensions of finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• Troubleshoot machining issues, make adjustments, and maintain tight tolerances.
• Work independently to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform routine checks and minor preventative maintenance on machines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
CNC Hurco Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience operating Hurco CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings independently.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, speeds, feeds, and tooling.
• Skilled with precision measuring equipment and inspection tools.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to perform in a fast-paced production setting.
Preferred Skills:
• Conversational programming experience on Hurco controls.
• Knowledge of G-code and CNC programming adjustments.
• Multi-axis machining experience.
Pay for CNC Hurco Machine Operator: $27.00/hour
