Job description


Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a toolmaker and CNC programmer position at a manufacturing company in Bethel CT. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
The hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $85,000-$100,000 a year, based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Program, set up and troubleshoot Hass and Fryer CNC machines
  • Prepare tool and offset lists for CNC programs
  • Design, build, troubleshoot, sharpen and repair dies for press machines
  • Maintain equipment in toolroom, CNC and press room
  • Maintain inventory and documentation for toolroom, CNC department and press room
  • Train and help oversee employees in toolroom and CNC department
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of toolmaking experience
  • At least 10 years of CNC programming and operating experience
  • Mastercam experience required
  • Experience with Hass and Fryer CNC machines strongly preferred
  • Leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working a small shop setting and willing to help in other areas when needed
  • Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting and standing for long periods
  • Able to pass pre-employment screenings
