KUTV has an exciting opportunity for a full-time News Reporter in one of the most beautiful places on earth. We are seeking a candidate that is a strong storyteller, who can humanize a story and make it impactful for a broad audience.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about digging up exclusive and enterprise stories that impact the audience. This is a self-starter's dream opportunity, allowing the most qualified candidate to put differentiating content, strong writing, and creativity into play every day across multiple platforms.
This position is for you if you like:
  • Jumping at the latest breaking story, and beating competitors on digital, social media and television
  • Listening to scanner traffic to find breaking news
  • Digging through probable cause and other documents to find hard news, enterprise stories that the competition will not put the time or effort in to find

Skills/Experience:
  • Exemplary communication skills and previous experience working in a team environment are a must, both on the desk and in the field
  • This position will be required to produce regular content on a variety of platforms including our digital platforms and social media, along with other duties as assigned by managers
  • The ability to work under deadline and on a flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends is required
