POSITION: Elementary Alternative Education Teacher (Teacher on special assignment)
LOCATION: Northwood Elementary School
NUMBER OF DAYS PER YEAR: 185 (including 1 day for orientation)
NUMBER OF HOURS PER DAY: 7 ¾ hours as per the Master Agreement
DUTIES: Special Education teacher for K-4 students primarily with developmental disabilities, emotional disabilities, mild disabilities, and behavior challenges in special education and general education settings. Supervisory and other duties as assigned by building administration.
REQUIREMENTS: Must hold a valid Indiana teacher's license. Preferred Seriously Emotionally Handicapped, Mild Intervention or Intense Intervention license.
SALARY: As per the master salary agreement
