Senior Tax Manager, Corporate/Technology Tax (Seattle, WA)
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Preparation and review of Corporate income tax returns and provisions, including international and state and local taxes.
  • Conduct online tax research
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with client senior management
  • Review and confirm assignment objectives, scope and work plan with client
  • Anticipate, identify and resolves complex assignment issues
  • Work with the partner group to generate leads, contacts and sales
  • Manage groups to ensure profitability in the short and long term
  • Support the partner team in identifying and promoting the development of new delivery capabilities and/or channels to satisfy evolving market requirements
  • Support the partner team in the development and planning of practice unit strategy, objectives, and budgets
  • Identify and develop new initiatives to increase retention, meet resourcing needs, utilization and people development
  • Build on strong coaching skills to mentor key talent
  • Share and transfer knowledge and skills to the team
  • Engage in ongoing personal development in line with the competency model

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, Masters in Taxation preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years corporate tax consulting/compliance experience in public accounting.
  • CPA license required
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong selling skills - generating leads, making contacts and securing clients
  • Strong project management and leadership skills including the ability to successfully coach and mentor talented people
  • Technical proficiency in tax software applications
  • Strong research, writing and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in delivery of quality client service
