We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team! As the first point of contact, our Customer Service Advisor is responsible for helping customers determine repairs and maintenance required for their vehicle, communicating any costs that could be incurred during their service, and relaying information to the service technicians. The Customer Service Advisor stays in contact with the customer to provide updates on the status of their vehicle and ensures that all required services are completed. Work Environment: Shop Environment
Weekly Day Range: Monday to Friday w/ Weekend Availability as Needed
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Answering phones and greeting customers in the showroom promptly and in a friendly manner.
  • Obtaining customer and vehicle information
  • Advising customers on the care of and the value of maintaining their vehicles
  • Determining and recommending needed maintenance base on age, mileage, and vehicle history
  • Determining needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues
  • Clearly reporting all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Preparing complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Monitoring the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers frequently
  • Verifying final invoice reflects services performed on the work order
  • Increasing customer satisfaction by building customer relations
  • Uphold company standards for ethics, professionalism, customer service, and positive community relations
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Valid Driver's License w/ Safe Driving Record
  • Successful Completion of Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug Screening
Skill Requirements:
  • Proficient knowledge of automotive service and tire maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills in-person and over the phone
  • Ability to communicate technical information in non-technical terms to customers
  • Eagerness to evolve and adapt with changing business needs
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
  • Customer Service: 1+ Years (Required)
