Gastroenterologist – GI Hospitalist
1 Week On / 1 Week Off | Staten Island, NY
We are seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join our GI Hospitalist team in Staten Island, New York.
This is an opportunity to focus on inpatient gastroenterology in a supportive community hospital environment with strong resident and nursing support. The GI Hospitalist works a 1 week on / 1 week off schedule, providing 24-hour service coverage while typically working (scoping and rounding) approximately 6–8 hours per day. Overnight emergencies are uncommon, and residents are available to assist with patient care.
Position Highlights

  • Primarily inpatient GI with no routine outpatient responsibilities
  • Typically 6–8 hours of clinical work per day
  • 24-hour service coverage with rare overnight emergencies
