Job description

Regional Partner Manager

Zamp is transforming how businesses manage sales tax compliance — automating registrations, calculations, filings, and payments so companies can focus on growth, not complexity. We partner with eCommerce platforms, ERP providers, accounting firms, and system integrators to deliver seamless, hands-off tax compliance solutions.

As a Regional Partner Manager, you will own Zamp's partner strategy and execution within your assigned U.S. region. You'll build and scale relationships with referral partners, white-label service providers, accounting firms, and technology platforms that serve mid-market and enterprise clients. This role combines strategic business development with hands-on partner engagement — driving new partner recruitment, regional events, enablement, and go-to-market planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regional Strategy & Ownership: Develop and execute a regional partnership strategy aligned with Zamp's national goals for growth and brand awareness.
  • Partner Recruitment & Enablement: Identify, recruit, and onboard new referral and white-label partners, including eCommerce agencies, ERP consultants, accounting firms, and system integrators.
  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary regional contact for partners — driving engagement, enablement, and revenue through co-marketing, joint sales efforts, and ongoing training.
  • Event & Program Management: Plan and execute regional partner events, sponsorships, and trade shows. Collaborate with Marketing on partner content, webinars, and campaigns.
  • Pipeline & Performance Tracking: Maintain visibility into partner performance metrics — tracking recruitment goals, lead generation, and partner-sourced revenue.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage a regional partnership budget, ensuring high ROI on events, sponsorships, and partner initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure partner programs align with Zamp's broader go-to-market strategy and customer needs.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, or business development, ideally in SaaS, fintech, tax, or eCommerce technology.
  • Proven success building and managing partner ecosystems across a defined region or vertical.
  • Experience with go-to-market planning, event strategy, and budgeting.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce, ERP, billing, or accounting ecosystems.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills — comfortable presenting to executives and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a large territory.
Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with sales tax, VAT, or compliance-related services.
  • Experience working with agency, accounting, or technology partners in referral or reseller programs.
  • Prior experience at a fast-growing SaaS or B2B technology company.
Why Join Zamp
  • Be part of a mission-driven company simplifying a complex and critical part of doing business.
  • Build a partner network from the ground up in your region — with autonomy and executive support.
  • Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits package.
