Job Opportunity:

BHSI has an exciting opportunity for an OnBase Systems Engineer to join their Technology Team supporting the creation, administration and maintenance of multiple workflows supporting the organization. BHSI is leveraging Hyland’s OnBase for its global document repository and is looking to expand our use of the product to enhance its Workflow and WorkView solutions to support our Global Claim and Underwriting operational needs. The ideal candidate will be based out of our Boston, Chicago, or Atlanta office and will be an experienced solution developer with deep electronic document management experience, Workflow and WorkView development skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administration, Configuration, and Maintenance of document routing workflows to facilitate automation
  • Workflow and WorkView solution administration, design, development and deployment
  • Code migrations and environment maintenance
  • Technical project and program management
  • Reporting and Dashboard Design
  • Participate in business ideation, problem solving and solutioning, and Strategic Planning sessions
  • Participate in business requirements sessions

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in Workflow Creation and Administration
  • 5+ years experience in WorkView design
  • Hyland OnBase Advanced Certified Workflow Administrator – OACWA a plus
  • Hyland OnBase Work View Certification – OCWC a plus
  • Hyland OnBase API Certification – OCAPI a plus
  • Knowledge in Hyland Cloud, Hyland OnBase Administration, Unity Client, Thick Client, Configuration Client, Work View, OnBase Studio and development a plus.
  • Strong competence in working with relational databases, XML files, data analysis, SQL scripting, data mapping and system integration.
  • 5+ years project coordination and release management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, subject matter experts and vendor resources.
  • Hands on style with strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft products including Outlook
  • Insurance Industry Operational Experience a plus.

The base salary range for this position in Boston, Chicago, Atlanta is $125,000 to $155,000, along with annual bonus eligibility. Total compensation for a candidate is determined by their relevant skills, location, and experience.
