Job Description
The Release Train Engineer (RTE) will act as the servant leader and chief Scrum Master for the Platform's Agile Release Train (ART), which is the team of Agile teams responsible for delivering solutions. Primary responsibility is to facilitate program-level execution, remove impediments, manage risk, and drive relentless improvement. Facilitate all major Program Increment (PI) events, including PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops. Work with Product Management and System Architects to ensure the product backlog is prioritized and ready for planning, coordinate dependencies between Agile teams, and provide transparent progress reporting to leadership, including burndown and burn-up charts. The RTE's primary objective is to guide the ART in delivering a continuous and predictable flow of high-quality software value to the warfighter.
Must have:
  • 10 years of experience in engineering
  • 3 years of experience leading a large scale program
  • Possess expert knowledge in Agile/Scrum or program increment leadership
  • Proven record facilitating PI/SAFe ceremonies and managing issue/risk resolution
  • Bachelor's degree (or an additional 4 years of equivalent experience)

Security Clearance:
  • Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
