Description
This is a summer 2026 position
Overall Responsibilities Maintenance Associate:
Perform tasks pertaining to on-site garbage collection, maintenance of lawn and other outdoor areas including, but not limited to, watering, tree trimming, and mowing (both push and riding mowers).Perform tasks pertaining to interior and exterior building and equipment maintenance including, but not limited to, advance maintenance and mechanical duties.Perform tasks related to maintaining storage facility including, but not limited to, moving units in and out of storage facility.Operate shop equipment including, but not limited to, woodworking equipment.Operate forklift, backhoe and garbage truck.Attend periodic safety and training meetings.Perform regular tasks with exposure to chemicals and hazardous materials.Closely supervised by Maintenance Supervisor, Assistant Resort Manager and takes direction by Maintenance Leads and Maintenance Level I. No supervision of others.Assumes duties of overall maintenance and safety of Hart Ranch Camping Resort when on call.Responsible for other duties as assigned.
Additional Tasks:
Answer shop telephone and take messages.Clean up of shop area.

Requirements
Minimum of high school education. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Must be a motivated self-starter. Ability to lift 40 pounds. Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. This work requires good corrected vision and hearing. Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed. Hold a valid state driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record. General construction, maintenance, related experience, first aid/CPR training is preferred. Requires indoor and outdoor work in hot, cold and wet weather.
