CooperZadeh Holdings is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support our Single-family Homes communities across East Texas, including Tyler, Terrell, and Mabank. This role is responsible for maintaining high-quality rental homes, completing service requests efficiently, supporting make-ready turns, and upholding safety and operational standards across the portfolio.

The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in delivering a “rent-ready WOW” product, reducing emergency repairs through preventative maintenance, and ensuring professional resident interactions while protecting company assets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Complete service requests within company response and completion standards.
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, and carpentry issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance per schedule to reduce emergency calls.
  • Execute make-ready tasks and support turn timelines.
  • Document all work orders accurately in Yardi CMMS.
  • Conduct property inspections and identify repair scope needs.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Follow OSHA, city, and warranty compliance standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
Requirements:Education & Experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of residential, multifamily, or BTR maintenance experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
Certifications
  • EPA Certification – Type II or Universal (Required).
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in CMMS platforms; experience with Yardi strongly preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently and prioritize work effectively.
  • Comfortable using mobile devices for work order management.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in Texas heat and varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb stairs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Other Requirements
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel between assigned East Texas communities.
  • Participation in rotating on-call schedule.
  • Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and accountability.
