The On-Call Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of after-hours support duties for Home Instead offices across the United States. Specialists are expected to answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable manner while responding promptly to the needs of clients, caregivers, and office staff.
The On-Call Specialist communicates schedule changes, call-offs, shift requests, and other important information to clients and caregivers. Specialists are also responsible for maintaining accurate records of all after-hours activities and documenting calls according to company procedures.
This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Specialists must demonstrate open and effective communication with the owner and fellow team members while ensuring company standards and client expectations are consistently met.
Knowledge of the WellSky (formerly ClearCare) operating system is preferred but not required. Previous experience in home care, healthcare, scheduling, or customer service is highly desirable.
This is a fully remote, work-from-home position available to qualified candidates anywhere within the continental United States.
