They are experts in testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and quality standards, ensuring software meets both functional and non-functional requirements. Typically, they step in to troubleshoot complex QA issues, review test plans, and mentor QA teams, providing guidance to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process. The 'on call' aspect means they may be engaged for specific projects or critical stages rather than as full-time staff.

How does an on call QA architect typically collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure software quality?

An On Call QA Architect works closely with both development and operations teams by designing robust testing frameworks, reviewing code and test plans, and facilitating communication between stakeholders. They often lead discussions on quality best practices, automate critical quality checks, and troubleshoot urgent issues that arise outside regular hours.
