Position: Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Coordinator

Employment Status: Full-Time (FT)

Department: Behavioral Wellness Clinic (BWC)

Reports To: Senior Vice-President of Medical Services (SVPMS)

Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary

Are you passionate about helping individuals overcome substance use disorders and rebuild their lives? Bridgeway Center, Inc. (BCI) is seeking a dedicated Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Coordinator to guide clients through every step of their MAT care - from initial screening through ongoing recovery support.

The Behavioral Wellness Clinic (BWC) helps individuals link to needed psychiatric services, including the MAT program. The MAT Coordinator serves as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for clients interested in MAT, assesses eligible clients to determine service needs, refers clients for needed services, coordinates appointments, and provides ongoing monitoring and follow-up. The MAT Coordinator also oversees Coordination of Care (CoC) for the entire case, ensures accurate entry and discharge of clients and services in the Florida Alcohol & Drug Abuse Association (FADAA) database, and educates persons served and their support systems regarding diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. This position also works with clients involved in the judicial system, coordinating care alongside court requirements.

They collaborate and communicate easily with BCI departments and external stakeholders, multi-task effectively, and maintain a consistently professional demeanor to ensure every client has a positive and helpful therapeutic experience.
