Job description

Are you someone who loves jewelry making, crafting, or creative expression? We're looking for a compassionate and creative community volunteer to spend time with an artistic woman with intellectual/developmental disabilities who loves painting, creating, and learning new artistic skills.

This woman is especially interested in learning about jewelry making and would love to connect with someone who enjoys creating handmade pieces and sharing their passion with others. This opportunity is less about being a formal instructor and more about building a genuine connection through creativity, conversation, and shared experiences.

A volunteer would:

  • Spend time creating jewelry
  • Encourage creativity and self-expression
  • Help explore different jewelry-making techniques and materials
  • Build a meaningful friendship through shared artistic interests

She would be accompanied and supported by her Direct Support Professional (DSP), so volunteers simply need to bring their creativity, patience, and enthusiasm.

This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact while sharing something you love.

Looking for weekday availability.

If you believe creativity brings people together, we'd love to hear from you!
