Job Description
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Specialty: RRT-NICU

Experience: 2 years of NICU experience required
License: State Respiratory license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, RRT
Must-Have: Level IV NICU trained RT willing to work in adult floor and ICU
Description:
Position requires an RRT with NICU experience.
Seeking a Level IV NICU trained RT who is open to working on the adult floor and in ICU.
The position includes working nights with a schedule of 3x12-hour shifts.
First-timers are accepted for this role.
Weekend shifts may be required as needed by the unit.
National certifications such as RRT are required.
BLS certification is necessary to apply.
On-call duties are not required, but floating within the hospital may occur.
Locals are accepted for this position.
Candidates must have experience with high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports.
Special procedures include working with advanced equipment and critical care situations.
Patient age groups range from neonates to adults.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a high-acuity environment, including patients requiring ECMO and various ventilation systems.
Experience with NAVA, high-frequency oscillators, and jet ventilators is highly preferred.

The daily census is expected to be between 10-15 patients.
The unit specializes in accommodating complex patient diagnoses.
