Job description

Job Description - Non-Exempt
Position Title: Housekeeping Inspector
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor/General Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Purpose
The Housekeeping Inspector inspects all units to ensure cleanliness for all future guests and Owners.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations
  • Thoroughly inspects assigned units to ensure complete cleanliness and set up
  • Checks the assigned units to ensure proper cleaning
  • Calls room attendant to clean any area that was missed or not properly cleaned
  • Aids the Housekeeping Supervisors in promoting a cooperative spirit among the housekeepers
  • AlertsSupervisor/Manager to areas that need further attention and to housekeepers that need further instructions in certain areas
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

General Statement - Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.
Job Requirements
Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Prior housekeeping/supervisory experience

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • High energy with a passion for housekeeping and cleanliness
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written
  • Ability to multitask
  • Driven to improve quality of work
  • Ability to work with no supervision
  • Ability to maintain professional conduct at all times
  • Flexible schedule; ability to work weekends and holidays is required

Shift: Additional hours may be necessary to accommodate business needs
  • Regular Hours, On-Call, and Weekend
