Job description

Weekend On-Call Home Care Aide

We are currently hiring a dependable and flexible Weekend On-Call Home Care Aide to support our growing home care team. This role is ideal for caregivers who are adaptable, responsive, and willing to assist with last-minute staffing needs across our service area.

On-Call Schedule

Friday 5:30 PM – Monday 9:00 AM

During this timeframe, the on-call caregiver must:

  • Remain available by phone
  • Be prepared to pick up shifts for call-ins or urgent scheduling needs
  • Be able to travel throughout our full service area
  • Be comfortable working with clients of all care levels
  • Be comfortable working in homes with pets/animals
Compensation
  • Hourly pay for all assigned client shifts
  • Inter-travel mileage reimbursement between clients
  • Additional $150 Weekend On-Call Bonus

To receive the $150 on-call bonus, all assigned shifts during the on-call weekend must be accepted and completed.

Requirements
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Flexible and dependable availability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and client needs
  • Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred
Availability Expectations
  • Must be available to work on-call weekends at least 2 weekends per month

This position plays a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted care for our clients and supporting our caregiving team when unexpected needs arise.
