Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) with 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks. Holidays as needed with no call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an Emergency Department and be able to manage a variety of patient needs effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Perform urgent and emergency procedures when necessary.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain proper documentation and charting of patient information using EPIC.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
  • Current active RN license.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH required. CPI, PALS, and TNCC preferred.
  • Experience with EKG interpretation and management of acute conditions.
